Welcome to the Office of English Learners!
The Office of English Learners (or the "EL Office") is made up of 3 divisions.
International Student Registration Center (ISRC)
The ISRC, led by Coordinator Josefina Bruninga, is the first stop in MNPS for all families who speak a language other than English. The ISRC has a welcoming bilingual atmosphere where incoming students are assessed, and parents are then offered EL Services for their children, if needed. We take pride in our friendly smiles and pleasant staff. Please call 615-259-8608 to make an appointment if you are a family new to MNPS.
Our Translation Services team, led by Coordinators, Clemencia Donovan and Ellen Bohle, is made up of over 50 bilingual staff members who are able to interpret and translate school and district information for parents who speak languages other than English. If you are an MNPS parent and would like to request an interpreter, please call Ellen Bohle at 615-259-3282, extension 858256.
ELD Curriculum & Instruction
