Hands on Nashville is a volunteer hub connecting people to opportunities that allow them to transform their world, community and neighborhoods through volunteer service. Hands On Nashville Day is an annual day of service that supports Metro Schools with various maintenance projects. |

Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee places trained volunteers in K- 12 classrooms to present a program focused on financial literacy, workforce readiness and entrepreneurship. JA of Middle Tennessee operates in 18 counties in the region, reaching over 42,000 students annually in over 2,000 classrooms. |

The Nashville Public Education Foundation accepts monetary donations to support initiatives to transform public education. The foundation raises and distributes private donations in a way organizational leaders believe will have a significant and transformational impact on public education in Nashville. |

Big Brothers Big Sisters offers one to one mentoring a minimum of one hour once a week at the child’s school or at an after-school site. Volunteers and selected high school students develop relationships with the child at the child's school. |

Nashville Teaching Fellows recruits, selects, and trains mid-career professionals and recent college graduates to teach in high-need subject areas like math, science, and Exceptional Education in Metropolitan Nashville public schools. Nashville Teaching Fellows is committed to bringing highly qualified, effective teachers into Nashville’s classrooms to close the achievement gap.
